About me

Hello. My name is Graham Reeves. I’m the creator and author of Graham’s Grammar, a blog to help English language learners.

I have spent most of my working life in education, including as a teacher and headteacher in the UK. I’ve also been a schools’ inspector, a teacher trainer, a curriculum writer and an education consultant – mainly with international schools in many countries. You can find out more about my work as an education consultant at www.grahamreeves.co.uk.

As well as working in education, I have been a residential social worker, a youth worker, a hotel night porter, a trade union official, an editor and an author.

In addition to my teaching qualification, I have a degree in education management and qualifications to teach English as a foreign language.

I have always enjoyed and been fascinated by language. Most of the contents of this blog have resulted from real questions from real English language learners – particularly in Russia – who often set me challenges that I have enjoyed trying to solve.

I hope you find what I write both helpful and interesting. If you have any questions of your own, let me know and I will try to answer them.

Happy language learning,

Graham
